On October 8, 2024, Lunghwa University of Science and Technology proudly hosted the "2024 North Taoyuan Industrial Park Industry-Academia Guidance Results Presentation." This event was expertly organized by the Bureau of Industrial Parks Taipei Branch, part of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The presentation showcased the outcomes of joint efforts among industry, government, academia, and research. The North Taoyuan Team encompasses the Linkou, Guanyin, Dayuan, and Guishan Industrial Parks Service Centers. The conference highlighted innovative business models and cutting-edge AI technologies, featuring a remarkable collaboration between industry park companies and educational institutions. The aim was to consistently nurture engagement and cooperation between industry, academia, and research within the parks. This collaboration aims to enable businesses to advance and improve their research and development capabilities, fully realizing the potential of technology and resource integration.

The Taipei Branch of the Bureau of Industrial Parks, part of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, has declared that delivering industrial guidance is a top priority in its suite of industrial services. Picture businesses striving to upgrade their technology, invest in workforce training, adopt energy-efficient practices, or minimize their carbon footprint in everyday operations. In these scenarios, individuals often seek assistance from local service centers to identify the most effective guidance resources, tackle their challenges, and gain the confidence to explore the park successfully. Industrial parks will experience upgrades in intelligence and safety for public facilities, while businesses will gain assistance for their low-carbon and smart transformation efforts. As we look to the future, industrial parks are poised to transform through three key avenues: intelligence, safety, and sustainability.

Tzu-Hsiang Ko, President of Lunghwa University, has revealed that since 2013, the Ministry of Economic Affairs has been actively advancing the "One University, One Industrial Park" initiative to strengthen industrial parks nationwide. This initiative aims to establish a sustainable collaboration platform that unites industry, government, and academia, harnessing universities' extensive research, technology, and talent resources with targeted support. This initiative connects students with industry by harnessing the university's vast research expertise. The Industrial Park Service Center is essential in cultivating strategic partnerships by effectively aligning key resources across academia, government, and industry.
President Ko emphasized that Lunghwa University of Science and Technology has successfully operated the Linkou Industrial Guidance Program for over a decade, serving the Guishan and Linkou industrial parks. The school harnesses top-tier research and development expertise, paired with cutting-edge technology, to empower the park's manufacturers in their evolution and enhancements, all while upholding a strong commitment to social responsibility. It allows manufacturers to discover fresh markets and ideas by applying cutting-edge marketing strategies.

During the result presentation forum, companies unveiled their development strategies focused on transforming into intelligent factories, showcasing successful examples of AI machinery. This highlighted the effectiveness of integrating smart manufacturing into small and medium-sized businesses. The participants then delved into the hands-on training facilities at LHU, uncovering valuable insights into the school's specialized laboratory equipment, the diverse range of courses offered, the training programs for seed teachers from partner institutions, and the formation of technical advisory teams designed to bolster industry advancements. Attendants strive to collaborate to cultivate essential practical skills within the country, fostering sustainable growth and transformation in the industry.
