Because of the growing international exchange affairs, on August 1, 2009, Lunghwa University of Science and Technology set up the first-level administrative unit -- “Office of International and Cross-Strait Cooperation”, to handling in international affairs and activities to and promote school internationalization. Its tasks include handling exchange activities with Lunghwa University of Science and Technology and foreign universities and academic institutions of the parties, exchange of professors and students, reception and colonel-level contact of VIP, coordinate international cooperation with related units, handle overseas promotion, recruitment of foreign students (include arrangement and counseling), promoting academic exchanges and cooperation with international-related affairs with Mainland China, upgrade international visibility and reputation of Lunghwa University of Science and Technology.
